About Sarah
I'm Sarah Hubbard and the Founder of Practice Matters. I am a supervisor, educator, organisational transactional analyst and published author, working across supervision, learning and reflective practice.
I work with practitioners who want space to reflect on their work, deepen their awareness and continue their professional development.
My interest is in how people learn, how practice develops, and how greater awareness can create new possibilities for ourselves, our work and the communities of which we are part.
Through supervision, I work collaboratively with practitioners to explore what is happening in their practice, relationships and professional context. I bring curiosity, compassion, challenge and an ethical lens, creating space for reflection, learning and growth.
My approach
I believe that learning and development happen in relationship.
My approach is grounded in Transactional Analysis and shaped through inquiry, dialogue and co-creation. I work collaboratively, creating the conditions for awareness, learning and new possibilities to emerge in you, your practice and your community.
I am particularly interested in professional practice, learning, relationships, ethics, power and social justice.

Professional practice
My work is grounded in Transactional Analysis, co-creative approaches, educational and systemic theory, and the ITAA Code of Ethics.
I engage in regular supervision, ongoing professional development and reflective practice. I am committed to maintaining the professional and ethical standards expected within both the Transactional Analysis and organisational development fields.
Supervision begins with a conversation.
If you're interested in finding out more, exploring whether supervision is right for you or your team, or discussing how we might work together, I'd love to hear from you.
